• I opted for the white and grey
background because I felt it was
simplistic and looked

tied with Islam. Altogether the
background is
professional, simplistic and
beautiful.

• This banner reflects many ideas.
The picture itself is Islamic
calligraphy of an Islamic saint
revered widely by Muslims. On
top of that, a Welcome sign in
red which stands out and shows
that the website is related to
Islam and the colour green
matches with the bright red
colour well.

3. WHY did I used this colour scheme?
• White and grey is very simplistic
and subtle. The colours make a
website look professional and
not casual, this was the main
factor in choosing this colour
scheme, because the client is a
Sunday School and not a sports
club for example.

4. WHY did I presented links in this way?
• I wanted the external links
related to the Sunday school to
be well organized and easy to
navigate through. The
thumbnails help a lot because it
gives a preview of the website
and what to expect. Organizing
the links in a list is the most
simplistic way to navigate
through the links.

5. WHY did I used a form to collect queries?
• Forms are very convenient for
companies because they can
collect explicit and non-explicit
information. The aim of the form
is to be able to answer questions
from the general public and
having information that the
school can use to keep in contact
with in the future if necessary.

6. WHY did I used a particular type of
navigation?
• This navigation style is very
simplistic, that is the aim of the
whole website, to be easy to use
and access. All the links to pages
are visible clearly in a row on top
of the site so it is easily
noticeable and accessible for
students, parents and the
general public alike.

7. WHY did I use RSS for the news section?
• RSS is a tool which allows people
to follow information or
announcements from a website
without having to access it every
time. The embedding of RSS into
the school website was to make
receiving announcements more
convenient and more people will
get the message compared to if
it was just posted on the site.

8. WHY did I used box.com HTML for file
access?
• Box.com is a great storage
service. It’s HTML embedding
features are also very useful. I
embedded Box.com so that files
from a specific folder can be
viewed in full screen or regular
screen, downloaded, printed
and much more with the
amount of features Box has to
offer. This can be very useful for
all users of the school website.

9. WHY did I present ‘Class Times’ as an
embedded file?
• This was used because
embedding a word document is
more easily viewable for the
user (more clearer)
