  5. Assessment: Positive momentum, but slow to bring product to market Majority of Woodward/Capitol Park ground floors controlled by Bedrock Success largely dependent on Bedrock Woodward/Capitol Park street infrastructure is in poor condition
  6. - 2016 - 142 liquor licenses in CBD -11% growth over 3 years - Retail/Liquor licenses - Indicator for strong restaurant development - But what this really means is that Detroit has added an additional timetable to its urban environment--activating the street at another time of day beyond the employee crowd - This activation can be seen as a catalyst/leverage for additional retail development
  7. From 1993-2003 - Built Zero new residential units. The Riverfront Tower was the last to open in 1993

From 2003-2013 we did see a change in direction, with the addition of 556 new residential units Projects completed: Kales Buildings Lofts at Merchants Row Woodward Lofts Broderick Tower In 2010 we completed a housing study that showed demand for 1400 residents per year. In The Live Downtown program was created in 2011 and it has added 900 new residents We survey about 3300 units in the Downtown twice a year. Our current occupancy is 99%
  9. Before we dive into the projects. I would like to share the results of the residential survey DDP conducted last fall. DDP surveyed residents from Grand Circus Park as a target sample of the downtown population. Our results demonstrated Almost half of residents in GCP residences live and work downtown, these residents walk to work or use the people mover. followed by 37% of residents living DT and commuting to suburban communities to work overwhelming, 99% of surveyed residents desire food market, bodega style retail. These results help shape our planning strategies as well as provide market information to our development stakeholders.   12. Initially, this Innovation Center will be staffed by approximately 50 people including existing Lear employees reassigned from our Southfield Campus and students from CCS and WSU. Over time, employment at this Center could total 125 employees.   Accordingly, this is 125 incremental jobs that are being created in Detroit.  Detroit citizens as well as other qualified prospective employees will be considered as we open new positions and replace positions.

  14. The plan is to rotate stories quarterly in this space. This is a look at the three-tiered grand atrium. Bright and inviting, it presents the essence of General Motors brands and vehicles, creating a spacious grand environment for events and galas.
  15. 218 apartments: 85 of which are to be affordable units — is 260 square feet. The remaining 133 units will be market-rate, although the exact rents for those have not yet been determined. The apartments are expected to come fully furnished with things such as televisions, beds and other furniture. There is no on-site parking, although there are nearby surface lots and parking decks. There is about 4,500 square feet of retail space planned for the 101,000-square-foot building, with some of that space going to chef Marc Bogoff and Eli Boyer.
  16. 235-units Village Green will dedicate $50,000 to improvements in the neighborhood immediately surrounding the development Include a market and/or restaurant, concierge services, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, business center, conference room, zen garden and courtyard park, and a club room with a bar, televisions, fireplace and a gourmet kitchen, according to a news release.
