She enjoys developing new client portfolios and the autonomy it provides. She feels passionate representing Venatrix as a startup and wants to see it succeed. I joined Venatrix because…
I had worked in Graduate Recruitment for three years and loved my job but wanted an exciting new
challenge that would still make use of all of the skills I had developed. I wanted to be exposed to
new leaders within the recruitment industry and the fact that I would be sat in a room with James
Caan’s team of investors and the CEO’s of all of the other Recruitment Entrepreneur portfolio
companies on a day to day basis really appealed to me. I was very inspired by the fact that Venatrix
is a start-up company because I knew that if I worked hard my input would make a huge difference.
Life before Venatrix…
Before Venatrix I was working for a company in a similar industry. It was the only job I had had since
graduating and I felt as though I had achieved everything I could achieve there and was ready for the
next challenge. I have the opportunity now to develop a whole new portfolio of clients which is hard
work but gives me lots of autonomy, control and is most definitely rewarding.
I like working at Venatrix because…
The fact that Venatrix is a start-up company makes me feel very passionate when making business
development calls and pitching to clients in meetings. I really believe in our business and want it to
be successful which motivates me to work hard and makes feel excited about going to work every
day. The company culture is great too – we are a tight team, we do lots of things socially and our
commission structure allows us to enjoy life to the max outside of work too.
An interesting fact about me is…..
I grew up in Papua New Guinea and in West Africa.
