 When individuals become members of society,
they each submit to the norms of that society.
 One of the dangers of becoming a member of
society is one is forced to adopt and adapt to
the standards of that society
HUMAN DIGNITY, RIGHTS AND COMMON
GOOD
 This is a necessary surrender of some individual
rights in exchange for being a beneficiary of
common good.
 However, the pursuance of the common good
should not be a cause for the violation of the
rights of individuals.

 It outlines the entitlements of all individuals to
human dignity and rights we posses that are
important elements in pursuing the common
good.

 Article 1. Equal Rights
All human beings are born free and equal in
dignity and rights.

Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms
set forth in this declaration, without distinction of
any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language,
