The guide is based on a plan for preparing non-runners to run a 5K and includes walking and stairs or hills. Martin encourages using the plan or another plan, and listening to Scripture while training, to get in shape both physically and spiritually for the trip. He also shares a tip about using the Kindle's text-to-speech feature to listen to an audio Bible.
