Introduction to Learning and Development : factors affecting learning and development, learning
theories - behaviourism, constructivism, cognitive models, experiential learning theory, Kolb's theory,
adult learning- active learning & retention, learning styles
Unit II
Training as competitive advantage : linking organizational strategy with training and development
strategies, linking performance and career development needs to training, L&D for high performers,
fast tracking succession planning
Unit III
ADDIE Model- Analysis & Design : analysis & design, development & implementation, evaluating
and determining training return on investment (ROI)
Unit IV
Career Development : career planning and management, career development, succession planning
Unit V
Leadership Development & Strategies : introduction to leadership development, needs
assessment, developmental strategies
Unit VI
Future of Learning and Development : L&D and entrepreneurship- creating marketing collateral,
