Anybody out there who has a new business idea of providing a good or service needs to have a strategic holistic approach to their business model In 2008, there were 485,312. patent applications filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. A great number of these patents were filed by individuals who had a business idea and thought their idea could be marketable. So, to design a business…there are many things you need to think about and surround yourself with to give a business a go
These support boxes are in no particular order…. You need to manufacture the product, you need to Market and sell your good or service, as you grow…you are going to need some types of technology for many reasons so an IS infrastructure needs to be built….. anytime you are in business there is a legal aspect. Another VERY important thing to think about… you are going to need an HR department, preferably made up of smart passionate folks who graduated from Clemson’s MHRD program. The bottom line here is you either have the skills, knowledge or competency to fulfill these business roles or you don’t. the minute you don’t…You need to make a decision on do you hire the knowledge or skill…Or do you bring in a consultant who has the expertise you need.
