INTRODUCTION
Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year is a 2009
Indian comedy – drama film directed by Shimit
Amin, which talks about basic goodness in a
corrupt company culture, where bribery and
sycophancy are quite prominent and how one
can remain honest and ethical and still achieve
success.
•Harpreet Singh Bedi aka. Happy (Ranbir Kapoor),
a B.com graduate with approximately 39 percent marks
becomes a salesman with a big corporate computer assembly
and service company, AYS.
•After discovering corruption and insult, he chooses to act
strong and determined and chalks out an innovative way of not
working for the firm, while doing the same, and yet running
his own business.
•He picks up others from the firm, who are good at working
but received similar treatment at the hands of their bosses.
PLOT
•Rocket sales corporation is formed and gets
successful.
•The movie then revolves around what ethical
business and good service can do to a small business
and what corruption can do to a big one.
•Also, a turning point in the movie is when the MD of
AYS discovers about all this being carried out under
his nose.
