An Example for Writing Content
• The panel will present how the 21st Century Skills
could be partnered with the national standards and
be integrated into Chinese language and culture
instruction. Three panelists will share strategies in
the following areas: a) Communication and
Collaboration skills: interaction with native speakers
and use of authentic materials will be highlighted; b)
Critical and Innovation skills: wherein newly revised
Bloom’s Taxonomy will be discussed; and c) Media
and Technology skills: information and media literacy
will be examined through the lens of cultural
perspectives.
An Example for Writing Outcomes
• Participants will gain an understanding of how
to apply (….document) to measure student’s
performance and how to incorporate ( ….)
technology to monitor student’s learning
progress. It is with an expectation that the
integration of ( ….document) will bring a clear
change in the daily language instruction.
An Example for Writing Method
• The PPT will display the goals, unit plan,
detailed lesson plans and a group discussion
guide. Handouts include an authentic
material, two activities and an assessment.
Presenters will conduct an on-going
interaction with participants.
