AN ADAPTIVE APPROACH FOR DYNAMIC RECOVERY DECISIONS IN WEB SERVICE COMPOSITIO...ijwscjournal
Service Oriented Architecture facilitates automatic execution and composition of web services in
distributed environment. This service composition in the heterogeneous environment may suffer from
various kinds of service failures. These failures interrupt the execution of composite web services and
lead towards complete system failure. The dynamic recovery decisions of the failed services are
dependent on non-functional attributes of the services. In the recent years, various methodologies
have been presented to provide recovery decisions based on time related QoS (Quality of Service)
factors. These QoS attributes can be categorized further. Our paper categorized these attributes as
space and time. In this paper, we have proposed an affinity model to quantify the location affinity for
composition of web services. Furthermore, we have also suggested a replication mechanism and
algorithm for taking recovery decisions based on time and space based QoS parameters and usage
pattern of the services by the user.

This document advertises FoliarBlend fertilizer and offers pre-purchase discounts for the 2012 growing season. Customers can purchase FoliarBlend for $41 per gallon in jugs or $40 per gallon in drums/totes by December 31, 2011 to receive their order in time for the 2012 growing season. The product claims to unlock crops' potential, lead to healthier soils, stronger plants, and higher yields to improve customers' bottom lines.
This document outlines a lesson plan for a 5th year Natural Sciences class in Coronel Dorrego, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The lesson focuses on revising natural disaster vocabulary and introducing weather idioms. Key points of the lesson include:
- Developing students' thinking and writing skills through matching activities and filling out a chart about weather idioms.
- Presenting flashcards with common weather idioms like "It's raining cats and dogs" and having students complete example sentences.
- Checking students' homework about a tornado that hit Coronel Dorrego in 1994 through oral presentations.
- Assessing students' understanding through questions about vocabulary and tasks.

The document discusses how scale formation can be prevented during welding of pipes. It explains that REDOX pipe uses vapor phase inhibition (VSI) oils to create a reduction reaction when heated during welding, preventing oxidation and scale formation on the inner pipe surface. In contrast, pickled and oiled pipes are more prone to scaling through oxidation reactions when welded. The document provides tips for controlling reduction reactions when welding REDOX pipe, such as spraying WD-40 inside the pipe and sealing the ends to prevent oxygen from entering and disrupting the reduction environment needed to prevent scaling.

This document summarizes a presentation on effective human-machine interface (HMI) design. It discusses why many existing HMI designs are poor and contribute to operational issues. Poor designs often overload operators with raw data instead of presenting information in a way that supports situation awareness. The presentation reviews principles for user-centered design and effective HMI design processes that focus on understanding operator goals and tasks. It provides examples of both ineffective and effective HMI designs from industrial process and medical contexts.

These lecture slides, by Dr Sidra Arshad, offer a quick overview of the physiological basis of a normal electrocardiogram.
Learning objectives:
1. Define an electrocardiogram (ECG) and electrocardiography
2. Describe how dipoles generated by the heart produce the waveforms of the ECG
3. Describe the components of a normal electrocardiogram of a typical bipolar lead (limb II)
4. Differentiate between intervals and segments
5. Enlist some common indications for obtaining an ECG
6. Describe the flow of current around the heart during the cardiac cycle
7. Discuss the placement and polarity of the leads of electrocardiograph
8. Describe the normal electrocardiograms recorded from the limb leads and explain the physiological basis of the different records that are obtained
9. Define mean electrical vector (axis) of the heart and give the normal range
10. Define the mean QRS vector
11. Describe the axes of leads (hexagonal reference system)
12. Comprehend the vectorial analysis of the normal ECG
13. Determine the mean electrical axis of the ventricular QRS and appreciate the mean axis deviation
14. Explain the concepts of current of injury, J point, and their significance

1. How To Stop Drinking?
Are you drinking far too much? Do you want help in stopping drinking, but do not know where
to start? Trust me you can beat Alcoholism, although it is never easy.
Now you can go and book yourself into clinic if you have the money or you can stop drinking
yourself. The clinic option can be out of most peoples reach, and most countries health services
offer very little in terms of free de-toxing options.
So if you want to stop drinking, and silly as it sounds you really do have to want to stop. (You
may try and stop several times and fail, but when you have hit rock bottom you will eventually
realise that if you carry on drinking you will die). So if you do want to stop I would
recommend the following.
Take a look at How to Stop Drinking
1.) Go and see your Doctor, be honest and tell him how much you are drinking, tell him you
want to stop and ask what help is available.
2.) Never just stop drinking on one day, if you are a heavy drinker and just stop overnight,
chances are you may have a heart attack.
3.) Ramp down your drinking rapidly but steadily, try having one drink less than you did the
day before and so on, until you are down to around three to four units of Alcohol per day. Also
try and delay having a drink until as late on in the day as possible.
4.) Find a hypnotist, tell them you want to stop drinking. Some may think this odd but for many
people it works in an odd way. You will not stop drinking straight away but in the coming
weeks you will find your self having less and less to drink.
Take a look at How to Stop Drinking
5.) Start taking Milk Thistle, Zinc, Vitamin B and B Complex, and Vitamin E - these will help
build your liver and kidney functions up and take away the cravings for Alcohol, helping you
climb down back off of Alcohol.
6.) Start taking regular exercise, do half an hours jogging, swimming or cycling every day.
7.) Most importantly add some structure to your day. Write out a list of what you are going to
do during the day and stick to it. But if things go wrong and you end up not doing some of the
things on your list do not beat yourself up over it.
Sticking to the above points will not always be easy and as with any addiction you will need
willpower and the support of others. If you think you are alone the look online for forums
2. related to Alcoholism, you can join anonymously and ask anything you like about Alcoholism.
You will soon discover you are far from alone.
So if you have a drinking problem then take action today before it gets too out of hand. So
please take sometime to visit the link below and start your road to recovery.
