1. How to make money on
Amazon Mechanical Turk
•Go to mturk.com
•Sign in with your current Amazon email and password, or create a new account if
you don’t already have one.
•After you’re approved, you can sign into MTurk as a worker and start completing
your HITS.
•Alternately, you can start with mturklist.com, and choose from HITS that have
been individually selected and shared as quality hits..

•Mturklist is very valuable to use, as it brings you good hits that other Turkers believe are worth
your time.
•However, many of the HITS are already completed by the time you get there, and you are forced
to sit through 5 seconds of advertising for each click.
•But if you act fast, this can be a time saver directing you straight to quality HITS.

3. Tasks are called HITs.. To narrow down
results, click here
You can set a minimum to
see higher-paying HITs..
•There are always lot of HITs available, but as new Turker, you won’t be eligible for many of
them. It’s necessary to build up your number of “successfully completed” HITs by doing as
many small-paying tasks as possible.
•After you reach 100, you’ll be eligible for better-paying HITs.

4. If you selected the previous option,
only HITs in which you are qualified
will show in the results.

5. You can click on the group title for more
information, or to find out what you need to
become qualified for a certain HIT.

6. Some HIT requesters have different requirements for working on their tasks. You will
likely need various browsers open and ready to work on certain HITs.

7. Don’t forget to click “Accept HIT” before you begin task,
or you will lose all your work.
You can skip the HIT you’re viewing,
and it will not count against your
approval rating.

8. •After you submit your completed task, you will be given confirmation.
•HITs are usually approved within the same day, but within 48 hours
maximum.
•Check your “Account” page to see if you were approved.
