3PAR:HOW TO CHANGE THE IP ADDRESS OF HP 3PAR SAN

1. HOW TO CHANGE THE IP ADDRESS OF HP 3PAR SAN
1.open putty and put the IP address of the SAN and connect it.
Login into the 3PAR SAN by usingthe IP address through putty.
Username-3paradm(default)
Password-3pardata (default)
Once login into the SAN through cli do follow the below steps.
# shownet (To see the current IP details)
# shownet (To see the current IP details)
To change the IP and Netmask-:
#setnet startaddr <old_IP> <new_IP> <new_netmask>

2. To change the GW-:
#setnet startgateway <new_gateway>
After changing the IP addressexecute the command for
#setnet finish
(Or)
#setnet finish -f
Then to verify it
# shownet (It will show you the new IP address)
======How to change the IP address by using the console===
Login into SP of 3PAR SAN by using putty with SP IP address(How to change the IP of 3PAR SP)
Username-3parcust(default)
Password-3parcust(default)
Login into SP-:Choose 2 option

3. Choose 4 option-:
Change the Host name, defaultroute, IP,netmask and GW by choosing1,2,3,4 and 5 options
respectively
