Eat that Frog!
Learn how to stop procrastinating high value tasks that can move your life forward. This book discusses the importance of goal setting, creative procrastination, time management and creating priority ranking for all of your tasks.
This slideshow is a comprehensive overview of Brian Tracy's book Eat That Frog! The basic premise of Eat That Frog is that we should focus on the highest payback, least-appealing task of the day FIRST, before anything else. He asserts that "your ability to select your most important task at each moment, and then to start on that task and get it done both quickly and well, will probably have more of an impact on your success than any other quality or skill you can develop!”
According to the author, an average person who masters this one technique will run circles around a genius who talks a lot and makes wonderful plans, but gets very little done. (I know somebody like this, don’t you?)
Furthermore, he says that "The ability to concentrate on this one important task, single-mindedly, to do it well, and to finish it completely is the key to great success, achievement, status and happiness in life.”
Let's all go eat that frog!
I love Brian Tracy's use of quotes in the book, and have included many of them in the slideshow.
If you're looking to be more productive, stop procrastinating the important stuff (We can all use less procrastination, right?), start procrastinating more creatively (I like the sound of that!), and reach the goals you have yet to attain, I highly recommend utilizing this information!

Be Productive NOT Busy! Wayne Weathersby (Podcast)Wayne Weathersby
Maximizing your personal growth is a worthy pursuit. In fact, many people make personal development their primary purpose in life. But even if you just want to smooth up your rough edges, having an effective mindset for personal growth will make the process more enjoyable and your efforts more fruitful. Your mindset can make all the difference! Consider developing these qualities to optimize your growth: 1. An open mind. Personal growth requires considering new perspectives, ideas, habits, and beliefs. If you’re dead set on approaching the world in a particular way, you’re greatly limiting your growth. Only when you are open to all the various possibilities can your growth be maximized. Consider that if you already had an optimal perspective and approach to everything, you’d already have everything you want. You may be mistaken about multiple things. Are you willing to figure out what those things are? Are you open to the idea that you might change your objectives based on new things that you discover about the world and yourself? 2. An interest in learning. Are you willing to learn about goal setting? Overcoming fear? Discipline? Communication skills? Reading about new ideas? There’s a lot that you don’t know that you need to know if you’re going to become everything that you’re capable of being. 1 3. The willingness to fail. Trying new things requires failure. It’s rare and lucky to succeed at something the first time. Whether you’re learning to be a better public speaker, taking a class, or learning how to play the violin, there will be failure. Failure provides the opportunity to learn and then to apply that knowledge during future attempts. 4. The desire to experiment. Should you eat a vegan, vegetarian, or paleo diet? Try them all and see what works for you. You can’t be certain what you want to have, do, or be until you’ve experimented and found the best answer for yourself. 5. The ability to set your ego aside. Your ego is a major obstacle when it comes to maximizing your personal growth. Your ego makes you more likely to be certain you’re right when you’re wrong. It leads you to blame others when the fault is your own. It also makes you afraid to fail. 6. Value improvement over perfection. Daily improvement is incredibly powerful. It’s not possible to be great at something instantly. When you can get excited about improving by 1% at something, you have a great mindset for personal growth. 7.Patience. Personal growth is an ongoing process. It may take decades to become the best possible version of yourself. Even figuring out the ideal sleeping schedule can take several weeks of trial and error. It takes time to get over your social anxiety or lose weight. Patience is an important factor! 8. Determination. Changing and growing isn’t for the weak. It’s important to be 2 determined and committed to changing yourself and your life. Determination is a valuable asset to have in many facets of life.

1. HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL ?
1. Enough Quality Sleep
This heading here is the key. It’s not only about getting the well-known
recommended 8 hours of sleep. They must be quality sleep as well. Why?
When you get quality sleep, yourbody’s ability to regenerate and heal
increases. At large, this translates into higher productivity.
Furthermore, you’ll have more energy the next day, which will help you handle
any work stress headed your way. Another important benefit of getting quality
sleep is that yourlifespan increases overall. Studies have shown that not
sleeping the hours we shouldhas a direct effect on our life expectancy.
Interestingly, getting enough sleepis a habit that’s built by smaller habits.
These include trying to go to bed at the same time every night, as well as
separating yourself from bright screens at least 30 minutes before you head to
sleep. If you work from home, make sure the area where you do your work is
different than your bed and, preferably, your bedroom.

2. Listen to Others
Sometimes we might be overzealous in our desire to get ourideas across.
Therefore, it’s important that we listen to what others have to say. This is
something you can apply at meetings, where yourattention can divert easily.
Make a conscious effort to listen to what each of yourcoworkers is saying. If
you’re in a position to do so, open the floor so that others can intervene.
2. Lastly, always consider criticism. Wheneversomeone provides constructive
criticism, it’s important that you listen and evaluate if what they’re saying is
something that applies to you, and how you can then change whatever it is for
the better.
“Listening is being able to be changed by the other person.”
-Alex Alda
3. Develop a Consistent Wake-Up
Routine
Just as you should go to bed at the same time every day, it’s ideal that you
wake up every day at the same time. Establishing a consistent wake-up
Routine will allow you to set out a structure for the day. Furthermore, you can
plan ahead and organize your schedule accordingly. If you enjoy exercising,
this might be the perfect time for it, as you’ll completely wake up your body
with yourdaily exercise routine.
Another thing many people find helpful is using this time to writing yourtasks
for the day. Before even looking at yourphone, you can write down what you
want to accomplish. Then, you can check your phone and see what other
people might needfrom you and make room for them where you can.
4. Make a Daily To-Do List
3. As we just said, you can write down the things you want to do as soon as you
wake-up. However, you might also enjoy doing this at night, before heading to
bed. Either way, you can set up specific goals for each day, which will allow
you to organize yourthoughts and make sure no task is left unattended.
You shouldgive priority to the most urgent tasks while leaving those that
don’t require yourimmediate attention for last on the list. A great way to
motivate yourself is by checking them off after you’ve accomplished them. This
allows you to have higheraccountability towards yourself while giving you the
enjoyment provided by small wins.

5. Have a Personal Financial Plan
You can make a financial plan yourself, or you can get help from a financial
planning professional. A financial plan could help you manage your finances.
Some people use payday loans using services like OpenCashAdvance which
financial plans could help to manage them.
No matter which route you go, financial planning starts with these six steps:
● 1. Set goals
● 2. See where your money goes
● 3. Get that employer match
● 4. Prepare for emergencies
● 5. Attack toxic debt
● 6. Invest to really grow your savings
4. 6. Review the Day This habit is intrinsically related to the last
one. By making a review of the day you can see which things you accomplished
and which ones you didn’t. Also, you can analyze the reasons for this. Are you
setting too many things on yourplate? Or on the contrary, do you find yourself
with more free time than you wish?
