As some of you may already know, starting with Java 7, OpenJDK is the Reference Implementation (RI) to Java. This presentation walks you through just about that and throws light into many areas that are not common knowledge about this subject. Having said we must move on with time, we used certain tools and methods to do our work in the past and now with improved technology we adapt with the shiny new tools and blend our work with it.
