This document provides instructions for several classroom activities and exercises involving the use of adverbs. It includes: 1) A memory matching game where students work in pairs to match cards with adverbs and their related adjectives. 2) An activity where students create a diagram showing the rules for forming adverbs from adjectives using the suffix -ly. 3) A speaking practice activity where students walk around the class asking each other questions using adverbs of manner and following up with additional questions using question words.

4. MEMORY GAME:
• INSTRUCTIONS: WORK IN PAIRS
1) Put the cards face-down on the table : blue cards on the left and orange cards on
the right.
2) Each student has to flip a card over in order to match blue card and orange card, if
the cards match she wins two points and she keeps the cards.
3) If the cards don’t match, it’s the turn for the next student and goes on.
4) The student who has the most cards wins.
5) RECOMMENDATIONS:
BE HONEST AND RESPECT YOUR TURN.
