This document summarizes theories about how Homo sapiens spread around the world and discusses tools used during different time periods. There are two theories for how Homo sapiens spread: either developing in Africa and migrating elsewhere, or ancestors living separately on different continents and developing into Homo sapiens at the same time. The document also describes tools from the Cro-Magnon civilization 40,000 years ago used for clothing, art, and sculptures, as well as Aurignacian and Magdalenian tools dated to around 40,000 and 15,000 years ago respectively used for hunting and everyday tasks.
