Walking along the street, we can always see some creatures. It
can be a dog or a cat. They all are different, but there is one
thing which unites them. These animals have not any home
and any headmaster.
Through my presentation I want to remind you,
what homeless animal feel today, right now,
being on the street. Frequently we forget, that
they are also alive as we are, that they also feel
pain, cold, betrayal, hunger, loneliness,
tiredness… We can help them!
We are not waiting for a miracle. We want only to be noticed by
you. Not to treat us as we are things. Not to tease us, to cause a
pain and sufferings. But to help sometimes… We need love.
Human’ s love and care… If only these feelings left in you. You
should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. Winter is a hard period. We are
basking on heating ducts or wells. But sometimes we have no
strength left. You are passing by, when we are freezing in
snowdrifts, it is so painful. You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. We are afraid to have an
accident while crossing the road. We look about when while
eating, fearing that even this peace of food will be taken away.
While thunderstorm or snow we are hiding in basements,
trembling from fear. We are afraid of sudden noise, of dogs. We
are afraid to be caught and euthanized. We are afraid of people.
People hurt us. And we fear. You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a
miracle. You throw us away
from your house, as we are
things. There are a lot of
reasons: we bother you, we fell
ill, became unnecessary… You
are going on a holiday or to
another city and forget us. If an
allergy for fur appears- we are
on the streets. We are presented
on birthdays, but after a month
a new owner throws us out. We
are not things. You should
know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a
miracle. It is very difficult to
survive on streets. We want to
eat. We are starving for one
week, two… We are dying
from exhaustion and thirst.
People are passing by, only
some of them might give a
piece of sausage or sour cream.
Some of them mix it with
poison. It hurts so much that
we are dying in sufferings. You
should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. They throw bottles and stones to
us, step on paws, kick. We are unprotected in front of a human. It
is painful. You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. We are wandering on the streets.
When we close the eyes, we dream about the home. Whining, we
remember our puppies. And if it seems that we can’ t cry- we can.
You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. A trust to the person disappears
on the street. They kick us and throw stones- we endure and
revert the eyes. If we are expelled from the basement and heating
mains, we are freezing on the well’ s covers. People, we gave up
believing you. You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a miracle. Street life is hard. Puppies are
locked in basements. Heart- rending squeak of our dying babies
breaks our hearts. Falling asleep on the wet cardboard, we
remember each of our puppies… You should know, we feel…
We are not waiting for a
miracle. A dog is human’ s
friend? A street became a home.
Busy passer- by walk away.
Every day is a struggle for
existence: not to have an
accident, to find a food and
water. We look at the man with
a hope… But we can’ t find a
home. You should know, we
feel…
This photos touched me. Let’s help at least to one homeless
animal every day. There are a lot of people, and we can reduce
the amount of destitute and lonely ones!
