The Lunaria Teatro organizes the "Festival on a Summer Night" for the 20th year in the Levante Riviera region of Liguria. From June 30th to August 18th, there will be evening performances under the stars in locations like Sestri Levante, Chiavari, and Bogliasco. The festival will feature productions like an adaptation of Andrea Camilleri's novel "Maruzza Musumeci" and Luis Sepúlveda's "The Gull and the Cat." Camilleri, Frida Kahlo, and Sepúlveda will be among the guests of the Lunaria Festival this year.

1. LEVANTE RIVIERA, IS THE THEATER? SUMMER
NIGHT FESTIVAL.
The "Festival on a Summer Night" organized by Lunaria
Teatro takes twenty years and as it has long been
enriched with a billboard parallel to that of Piazza San
Matteo, the Genoese house of Lunaria, in some places in
the Ligurian Levante.
From 30 June to 18 August, from Sestri Levante to
Chiavari to Bogliasco: evenings under the stars with the
company Lunaria. At Sestri Levante on June 30th with the
national preview of "Maruzza Musumeci" by Andrea
Camilleri's novel.
On August 17, "The Gull and the Cat" by Luis Sepúlveda
for the theatrical reduction of Renzo Sicco and Gisella
Bein.
Camilleri, Frida Kahlo and Sepúlveda among the guests of
the Lunaria Festival.

2. The Gabbianella and the Cat
An adaptation of the artistic director Daniela Ardini from
the novel by Andrea Camilleri, a fairy tale that
Montalbano's father envelops in the years between 800
and 900 and that, Gnazio Manisco's account - interpreted
by actor Pietro Montandon - a man "terragno" linked More
to the land than to the sea, that will end up marrying with
Maruzza, a mysterious and fascinating young man who
we discover will be a siren. From Genoa, the show will be
brought to tour in Sicily of Camilleri.

3. From Sestri Levante - where Lunaria's signed
appointments are part of the "Levante Theaters" exhibition
and are the result of collaboration with the Municipality
and the Mediterranean Foundation The Hub -

appointments at Villa Rocca Garden.
This year the Festival has been awarded the EFFE Label
2017-18 award with the mention: "Festival of interesting
artistic and cultural values with a good international
