Scărișoara Cave is one of the largest ice caves in Romania located in the Apuseni Mountains at an altitude of 1165 meters above sea level. The cave is 105 meters deep, 720 meters long, and contains a large entrance shaft and Big Hall that are accessible via metal stairs. Tourists can visit the entrance shaft, Big Hall, and Church, while other chambers are reserved for scientists with permission from the Speological Institute of Cluj-Napoca.
