2. Two Virtual Places
In my travels around Second Life I came
upon these two places which I think would
be extremely helpful for my colleagues as
well as the individuals I work with. They
are two places I would include in my own
learning environment.
3. Virtual Ability Island
A place which will allow people with disabilities as well as their advocates to:
1) Locate and evaluate important health information.
2) Locate and socialize with other groups or individuals with disabilities.
3) Train in the use of second life avatars.
4. Virtual State Fair Art Gallery
A Virtual Gallery which would allow developmentally disabled artists to:
1) Submit the artwork created virtually.
2) Experience, learn and grow from seeing other artists work.
3) Allow the development and use of avatars in Second Life.
