Mr. David's Carpet Service was founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1976, originally installing residential floors but later focusing on commercial projects like hotels. It has become the fourth largest provider of commercial flooring installation and materials globally, working with major brands around the world. 1. Mr. David’s Carpet Service, Ltd. was founded by David and Leonard Zmijewski in 1972. Created
as a partnership installing residential floors, Mr. David’s incorporated in 1976. After renovating
two local Hyatt Hotels, Mr. David’s discovered that commercial projects were our calling.
Today Mr. David’s Flooring International, Ltd. can be found at hotels, hospitals, and corporate
offices around the world. We are the fourth largest provider of material and labor in the
commercial floor covering industry. Mr. David’s is an active member of StarNet and loyal
supporter of INSTALL. We are additionally involved in the Professional Flooring Installers
Association, the International Facility Management Association, and the American
Subcontractors Association.
Additionally, Mr. David’s is pleased to offer carpet reclamation services. We can help bring
new life to old floors by recycling your carpet. This process will transform your old carpet
into new “green” flooring products, consumer and industrial parts or convert it into energy.

compliant, it can be used for LEED accreditation. It also works within the green initiatives

at Mr. David’s, an installer must successfully pass our 10 year training program. Due to the

Mr. David’s is continuing our success story by adding additional locations through-out the
Mid-West. We will be opening our first location in Cincinnati in February 2015.
