GENERAL PROCESS
The liner and the facestock (pre-printed or not) are
placed on individual unwinding systems. Either the liner
or the facestock are coated with adhesive before being
joined in the lamination process.
Any paper, film, foil or board can constitute the
facestock.
The adhesive is melted in the drum or tank and pumped
through hoses to the dispenser (slot die).

independent regulation of the temperature during the

The microprocessor is used to control all temperatures
thanks to a PID system adjusting the different temperatures

programmed according to the different applications.
REMOTE MACHINE STATUS INDICATOR
The main system status conditions are signalled to the
operator by a “light tower” with four different colours
(starting from model MITSU 140).
The processing control system is provided with a weekly and
daily timer that can be used to set the operating and stand
by time of the melter fully automatically.
The hot melt units are equipped with a light indicator that
informs the operator about the necessity to refill the system
with adhesive before down time.

The system allows the production of small batches with the
same efficiency of bigger productions.

The management of the intermittent adhesive application
is very easy and intuitive thanks to MITSU Intermittency
Control System.
The system reads the speed of the main line and the adhesive
release starts fully automatically.
Once the length of the adhesive pattern and the total length
of the product are set and the off-set frequency parameter
is received from the main line, the die cutting operation is
perfectly synchronized and consistent.

The wide range of tank Melters produced by HIP-MITSU is
the answer to all your needs regarding the application of hot
melt and includes devices for a big range of melt rates.
The special design and the use of advanced technological
materials are the guarantee of the good preservation of the
adhesive.
Different models of gear pumps with adjustable RPM can
be installed on all models and are suitable for the system
configuration optimizing the distribution of the adhesive.
Each pump can support one or two automatic hoses.
The structure of all units is designed to allow an easy access
to any components.
ALWAYS VERSATILE and EFFICIENT
A special surface treatment of all parts in contact with the
adhesive allows an easy and quick cleaning of the system for
example in case of use of different adhesives.
Removable on-line filters protect the system and the
connected devices from foreign bodies and guarantee a
perfect adhesive distribution.
The adhesive coating weight can be increased or reduced
according to the variations of the line speed. This can take
place fully automatically while the RPM of the engine acts
upon the gear pump.
Most of the heating parts are provided with quick action
clamps to simplify maintenance operations.

STANDARD of SAFETY
The electrical device is IP-54 rated according to the Safety
Norms on industrial machinery.
All units are equipped with an emergency switch on the
machine according to the actual Safety Norms.

HIP-MITSU series DM enable the use of a wide range of hot
melt and polymers having a working temperatures up to
240°C.
The machine is equipped, as per our standard, with a by-
pass valve which enables continuous and/or intermittent
applications.
For continuous applications the“no-stop HIP-MITSU system“
is available to reduce the machine down time during drum
change.
Up to two gear pumps can be installed in a DM 200 and they
can be equipped with on-line filters, too; each pump can
support one or two heated hoses.
Two different kinds of melting plate enable you to maximize
the melt rate of the adhesive to be used.
A special non-stick coating has been applied on all surfaces
that are in contact with the adhesive.
On-line Control and monitoring of all heated parts with
independent adjustment of the temperatures during the
working and stand-by phases.
The status of the main system is signalled to the machine
operator through a beacon with four different colours or by
an alarm with four different tones.
Removable on-line filters protect the system and the
connected devices from foreign bodies and guarantee a
perfect adhesive distribution.
The adhesive quantity distributed can be increased or
