This document presents the Promo Price Perception Index for 2016. It shows the basket prices for a selection of common grocery items across 13 Hungarian retailers on a monthly basis. The lowest basket price for each month and year is highlighted. Methodology notes indicate the index aims to compare the perceived price image communicated by retailers in promotional materials rather than directly compare identical SKU prices.
