The HIPAA Privacy Rule protects individuals' private health information held by covered entities, gives patients rights over this data, and balances privacy with allowing disclosure for care and other important uses. As a manager, to prevent breaching celebrity files, one could implement passwords and designate responsible staff as the only ones allowed limited access on a need-to-know basis. These staff would be trained on keeping the information private and face consequences for any leaks, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Don’t get caught breaching celebrity files!
As a manager, I could put in place a security password on celebrity personal information or
implement certain people as responsible staff that could only access these files marked
confidential. I would not specify who the individuals were. Only those staff with special need to
know basis would be able to access the files. I would also give specific instructions on what they
needed to do to keep that information to themselves and if broken, then consequences will be
followed for corrective action. I would also give training to the medical staff on what is expected
of them make sure that HIPAA is in full effect.
