Project Details: Bharti-Airtel Limited has undertaken an enterprise-wide initiative called “Stakeholder’s
Security Framework” to have centralized control on security and identity management for applications
and systems being used by all its user communities consisting of employees, contractors, partners,
associates and customers.
The security solution at a high level should provide a Framework for integrating the identified
applications for centralized user provisioning and single sign-on. The solution exploits the AAA of IBM
Tivoli Core Security products like ITAM for authentication and authorization, ITIM for Identity
Management and user life cycles, ITDS for user registry store and ITDI for all provisioning and user
lifecycle management. The solution has 99.99% Business continuity since every servers are in the
clustering mode.
This security initiative also provides application security guidelines that should address issues related to:
 Integrity, Authentication, Authorization, Audit, Administration, Confidentiality, Non-repudiation.
