You see products that boldly announce things like ‘Organic’, ‘No Trans Fats’, ‘All Natural’, ‘Gluten Free’, ‘Fat Free’ and so many other seemingly healthy terms. Consumers often don’t realize that they are buying foods that are harmful to their health. You might think, “it’s organic, so it must be healthy.” Unfortunately, that is not always the case.

ARISTOLOCHIA PLANTS - An ingredient common in botanical Asian remedies. - This plant is said to aid weight loss, ease joint pain and improve stomach ailments. - This plant once said to be a medicine has been studied and scientists see that it can cause urinary tract cancer, as well as kidney failure. - 151 patients were studied that had urinary tract cancer and research found that 60% of those patients were somehow connected to Aristolochic acid.

Studies are supposed to be done before the products are out on shelves so how did I get as far as it did? - First noticed in the 1990s it has been studied ever since. - even though many countries have taken steps to warn of the risks, the ingredient is difficult to control. - These products are still sold in china and in different foreign countries you can but it. - The internet is a huge factor to not being able to control this substance because its not illegal to buy and sell these products. - The united states could ban the importation of these goods but its seems like stopping this “remedy” is too difficult even with all the warnings.
