2. HELPie is a disposable product that facilitates dental work and saves time for
dentists and dental hygienists. The product’s excellence is based on three functional
features.
A flexible bite block which
keeps the patient’s mouth open
without feeling unpleasant.
The tongue cone. The tongue
is directed away from the
work area, without restricting
its movement, as the tongue
remains free to move within the
cone. The cone also keeps the
floor of mouth clear from the
work area.
Powerful one-hole suction.
The location of suction can
be adjusted according to the
situation.

3. HELPie automatically adjusts
to fit the patient’s mouth.
HELPie is also suitable for
x-ray imaging without creating
contrast.
HELPie is quick to use as it
requires no assembly, except
for the attachment of the
dedicated adapter hose which
is included with the product.
HELPie allows dentists and dental
hygienists to work alone as the patient’s
mouth is kept open during the whole
operation and the patient’s tongue
remains clear from the working area,
providing good access and visibility
inside the patient’s mouth.
Constant suction removes saliva and
water from the mouth.
The patient’s need for swallowing is
reduced, thus making the operation
more comfortable for the patient.
The bite block does not restrict
swallowing, due to the flex feature which
has been found to be very pleasant by
the patients.
The flat surface at the front of the bite
block provides finger support while
working with patients.
Using HELPie saves time for dentists
and dental hygienists. This means also
that the patient has to spend less time
in the dentist’s chair.
HELPie is a disposable product and
thus our customers can also save on
equipment service costs as the product
requires no service. The product can be
disposed of through waste-to-energy
methods.
HELPie also improves work
ergonomics.

4. 4 Place HELPie into the
patient’s mouth; biteblock
should be placed so far into the mouth as it is possible, yet
so that the patient still finds the placement comfortable. You
can find a good position for HELPie by tipping it upwards
and downwards and also moving it slightly sideways. The
patient can also find the best position by moving HELPie
into it’s place himself/herself.
HELPie®
1 Start by pushing and twisting HELPie´s own suction
adapter-hose (within the package) into the front hole of
HELPie’s saliva tube.
2 Continue by pushing
and twisting the other end
of the adapter-hose into the
saliva suction-apparatus.
The adapter-hose is suitable
for general saliva-adaptors.
Turn the saliva suction-
apparatus on and HELPie
is now ready for use.
3 Ask your patient to open
his/her mouth widely open
once or twice, so that the
jaw muscles can stretch
a bit. This helps in placing
HELPie into the patient’s
mouth.
5 HELPie guarantees a good working space, keeps the tongue away from the area under
operation and aspirates liquid out from the mouth so it is possible to keep the molarteeth dry
during the operation.
