Our king`s name is Harald, and the queen is Sonja. The
crown prince is Håkon and crown princess is Mette Marit.
• Norway is a small, but long country.
• Almost 5 000 000 people live here
• Our capitol is called Oslo
• We live just outside Stavanger
• In the east we border to Sweden, in
the north to Finland and Russia.
• The languages in Norway, Sweden
and Denmark is very similar.
• There are a lot of mountains and
fjords
• Our natural resources are mainly
energy (from water), oil and fishing
industry.
We live here
The Pulpit. When
you go to this
mountain, you can
sit on the edge,
and look about
600 meters down
to the Lysefjord.
Rogaland has a
lot of villages by
the sea
Kjerag. You can
stand on the
”Kjerag Bolt” and
look about 1000
meters down to the
fjord.
A lot of contrasts in our nature
OUR NATIONAL DAY
Our national day is the 17 th. of May.
It`s the children`s day. We go on
parade, the bands are playing, and the
children get to attend a lot of games
and contents. They can eat as much ice
cream as they like
⬜ Our subjects are:
◼ Norwegian
◼ English
◼ Maths
◼ Science
◼ Music
◼ Gymnastics and swimming
◼ Cooking (6. th graders)
◼ Social studies and history
◼ Arts and crafts
We should focus on and increase childrens good sosial skills.
We attend a program called ”Smart oppvekst” and “Respect” this
contains common rules for all, to prevent bullying and maintain a good
contentment for all. The staff should be able to say ”This is how we do
thing at our school”
Respect and Smart oppvekst
What would happen if all children learnt the skill
to see everything good with themselves and
others
