Anandam Health Care Training Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu offers a free training initiative on geriatric home care nursing assistants. With more elderly people living longer lives but often alone as their children move abroad, there is a growing need for home care assistance to take care of elders' physical and emotional needs. Ingress Foundations provides comprehensive training to fill this role, with a curriculum designed by professionals and delivered by experienced trainers, in order to qualify trainees for permanent, income-generating jobs providing home care assistance and self-reliance.

The conference messages emphasized that interactions with animals can benefit looked after children by providing emotional resilience, a strong identity, and opportunities to address past trauma or neglect. Care homes were encouraged to support children's requests to keep pets when possible as pets can create a safe space and sense of being loved and valued. The conference aimed to promote an enabling attitude that believes in children's potential and supports them in communicating in a way that is right for their needs and pace.
