• The World Health Organization (WHO) was established seventy-three
years ago by men and women of goodwill and foresight (Mahler,
1988).
• “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being
and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (WHO, 2021).
4. Declaration of “Health for All”
• “Health for All” was initiated by the World Health Organization
(WHO) as a public health movement in the late twentieth century.
• The Assembly introduced a Global Strategy for Health for Everyone by
the Year 2000 in 1981. The "Health for All" movement was born at
this time (Stöppler, 2021).

• According to WHO,
Health for Everyone' does not imply that sickness and disease are
unavoidable.
It ensures health services are allocated equally

work
• To be part of a multi-disciplinary team, in spreading UHC cost-
effectively, rapidly and to a high level of quality.
• Monitoring health outcomes, providing preventative health education
and collecting vital data on their local populations.
9. Conclusion
• Nurses and midwives offer a one-of-a-kind service that no other
occupation can match, but in a relaxed and discreet manner, and
sometimes away from the public's eyes. And, of course, they do so
regardless of the circumstances, even though those circumstances
seem to be changing.
