5S is a workplace organization methodology consisting of five Japanese words - sorting, straightening, systematic cleaning, standardizing, and sustaining. The steps involve eliminating unnecessary items, clearly labeling storage areas, cleaning workspaces daily, making all workstations identical, and maintaining standards over time. Implementing 5S improves organizational efficiency, reduces waste, cuts frustration, and improves speed, quality, safety and the work environment. The objectives are increased productivity, safety, and reduced waste while gaining worker commitment.
Here are the key points covered in the information sheet:
- Screwdrivers (standard/flat, Philips, stubby, Allen) are used to loosen or tighten screws of different head types.
- Hammers are used for driving or pulling out nails. Types include claw hammer, mallet, ballpeen hammer.
- Pliers (combination, side cutting, long nose) are used for cutting, twisting, bending wires and cables.
- Other tools include wire strippers, electrician's knife, portable electric drill, hacksaw.
- Electrical materials include convenience outlets, male plugs, lamp holders (flush, hanging, surface), switches (hanging, flush, surface)
There are three types of workplaces and the document discusses the 5S methodology for organizing and cleaning a workplace. The 5S methodology includes Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. It provides details on implementing each step, including organizing items by frequency of use, standardizing locations for items, and sustaining the changes over time.
The 5S workplace organization system applies a set of basic management principles that many companies widely adopt to maximize productivity and organization. As a cornerstone of Lean management, 5S improves workplace morale, safety and efficiency.
In this training presentation, you will learn how to mobilize and align your management team to launch or improve a 5S and Visual Management implementation in your organization. - The Waste Bank initiative in Indonesia allows people to save waste instead of money. Households deposit their waste at Waste Banks in exchange for credits that can be used to borrow money or purchase essential goods.
- Waste Banks operate under a cooperative legal structure and work with local communities and businesses. They provide an incentive for people to separate waste and a way to finance basic needs through waste collection.

This document analyzes the social audit process implemented in Andhra Pradesh for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) program. It finds that Andhra Pradesh successfully institutionalized social audits, which involve community members systematically reviewing NREGA records and outcomes. Key findings include that social audits have improved transparency around wages, work done, and materials used. They have also increased accountability, as errors and irregularities found through audits must be addressed. However, the role of the Andhra Pradesh government in carefully facilitating the audit process and addressing issues raised has been important to the success so far. Overall, the experience suggests social audits can be an effective tool to introduce transparency and accountability to anti-poverty programs
The document provides a summary of PR and media coverage generated by Neoteric between September and October 2012 for their products and company. This included coverage of LaCie Dhamaka and Onam schemes in magazines, online articles about EDIMAX dealer schemes, and coverage of the UMAX Scanner 8600 and UMAX 18 UM Portable Speaker in various magazines and websites. Neoteric also received coverage about their HR initiatives and participated in industry stories. They developed communications about events and a new business structure.
Standards of weights and measures (enforcement) actAltacit Global
This document summarizes the Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act of 1985. The key points are:
1) The Act provides for the enforcement of standards of weights and measures as laid out in the Standards of Weights and Measures Act of 1976. It empowers state governments to appoint officials to ensure effective implementation.
2) Manufacturers, repairers, and sellers of weights and measures must be licensed and devices must be verified and stamped according to standards before sale. Inspectors have powers to inspect premises, seize non-compliant devices, and impose penalties.
3) Selling commodities in quantities other than declared weights or volumes is prohibited. Penalties include fines and imprisonment

Bihar has great potential for industrial growth and development. Currently, industry only contributes 3.2% to Bihar's GDP, which is far below the national average of 20.1%, making Bihar one of the least industrialized states. While Bihar was once the richest state in India, political instability and corruption in the 1990s led to an economic collapse. The separation of Jharkhand further reduced industry as many businesses were located there. However, with recent economic reforms and good governance, Bihar is well positioned to boost industrialization over the next decade and improve livelihoods. Increased industry can help solve issues of unemployment, poverty, and migration by generating more jobs and opportunities in the state.
Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune DiseaseHealth Advances
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

8 Surprising Reasons To Meditate 40 Minutes A Day That Can Change Your Life.pptxHolistified Wellness
We’re talking about Vedic Meditation, a form of meditation that has been around for at least 5,000 years. Back then, the people who lived in the Indus Valley, now known as India and Pakistan, practised meditation as a fundamental part of daily life. This knowledge that has given us yoga and Ayurveda, was known as Veda, hence the name Vedic. And though there are some written records, the practice has been passed down verbally from generation to generation.
