Practices can expect to generate over $500k in net income annually with an initial investment of around $32k and minimal space needs. PHSI handles equipment, training, and ongoing support so practices have full ownership and control.

This document proposes a framework for evaluating mental health smartphone applications. It notes that while such apps have potential to extend mental health services, most have not been rigorously evaluated for efficacy, safety, or quality. The framework suggests apps be evaluated based on three dimensions: usefulness, usability, and integration/infrastructure. Specific criteria are outlined for each dimension to allow clinicians and patients to assess apps.
E health in Nigeria Current Realities and Future Perspectives. A User Centric...Ibukun Fowe
In this era of the digital revolution, innovative computer software programs and Information and communications technologies (ICTs) are disrupting different industries of most economies and the healthcare sector is one of the nascent and emerging opportunities for technology disruption and innovation. This is an “inevitable” welcome development as Global health innovation is at the forefront of embracing the use of technology solutions in various parts of the world to improve access to health services and medicines, and Nigeria is not to be an exception. This symposium is focused on asking the fundamental questions; how much impact are e-health applications making in the Nigerian health sector and how do we improve the level of impact and
effectiveness of these applications via a user-centric approach?
Taking these proactive steps serve to ensure that we focus on the real needs of the Nigerian people and put in place quality and safety measures that will give users the confidence needed to use e-health applications and solutions adequately and appropriately. This symposium invites key-stakeholders in the e-health
ecosystem to share their views on the pains and gains of e-health as of today and how to shape the future of e-health in Nigeria (and similar countries). Some of the presentations and panelist sessions will include real field experience and user-centered qualitative research that will elicit the current level of impact and the real needs of e-health users in the southwest region of Nigeria.
How to evaluate and improve the quality of mHealth behaviour change toolsJohn Rooksby
This document discusses evaluating and improving the quality of mobile health behaviour change tools. It outlines that while mHealth tools have potential benefits, their quality varies widely. The document proposes using a structured evaluation cascade including inspection of safety, content and accuracy; usability testing; and randomized trials to assess potential impact. Evaluating mHealth tools against agreed quality criteria and labeling them with results could help reduce unrealistic expectations and strengthen other quality improvement strategies. This approach aims to maximize the benefits of mHealth.

The document discusses developing a mobile application called Smart Health to help people manage their basic health needs. It aims to study mobile health applications, develop an app for basic health management, and test the app's functionality and benefits. The app will use 2D and 3D animations on Android devices and include features like health trackers, advice, and nutrition guides. The development process will involve analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases to define problems, design solutions, build the app, deliver it, and measure effectiveness. A storyboard and proof of concept were created to demonstrate the app's concept.

ABDOMINAL TRAUMA in pediatrics part one.drhasanrajab
Abdominal trauma in pediatrics refers to injuries or damage to the abdominal organs in children. It can occur due to various causes such as falls, motor vehicle accidents, sports-related injuries, and physical abuse. Children are more vulnerable to abdominal trauma due to their unique anatomical and physiological characteristics. Signs and symptoms include abdominal pain, tenderness, distension, vomiting, and signs of shock. Diagnosis involves physical examination, imaging studies, and laboratory tests. Management depends on the severity and may involve conservative treatment or surgical intervention. Prevention is crucial in reducing the incidence of abdominal trauma in children.
