Students from the Semiahmoo Science Club hosted students from H.T Thrift Elementary for a day of Halloween-themed science demonstrations and experiments. The event included popular demonstrations like the Mentos in Coke geyser reaction, a pumpkin pendulum showing conservation of momentum, glow-in-the-dark atomic slime, a can crusher showing phase changes, an electric pickle circuit, non-Newtonian oobleck, and a plasma globe displaying different light frequencies. The president of the Semiahmoo Science Club felt the event was a fun way for kids to learn science principles. At the end, the H.T Thrift students left with candy and prizes while the Semiahmoo students had cleanup
