Harm and offence
1. Privacy
Secret Recording
The use of hidden cameras or microphones.
Use long lenses, small video cameras, mobile phone
cameras, webcams and radio microphones, when people
have no idea they are being recorded.
Recording telephone calls when the other party is unaware
they are being recorded or with out their permission.
Normally, secret recording are used only for the following purposes:
>As an investigative tool where you can get evidence of the crime
> To obtain material outside the UK where the country have
different laws for filming.
> A scientific or social research in the public interest, to find
out human logic
> For comedy and entertainment output where the secret
recording, and any deception involved, are an integral part of the
programme.

This programme uses hidden cameras to find out people’s
opinion in certain topics. They put hidden cameras in the room
and get actors to act in a negative way to see what would people
around them do. In this case, it’s in a shop where a muslin guy is
the employee and a white guy customer, they are both actors,
they know each other and they don’t hate each other but for this
show the white guy is going to refuse the service of the muslin
guy, they have to start a scandal to find out what would you do.
It has to be done this way to get the real option of people
because if they don’t use hidden cameras and showing off that
they are filming for a TV show or something, people around them
would also act as if they were kind even if they were not acting
like their real self.
2. Impartiality
Personal View Content
Each person has their own options and their own views. A personal view it’s not
about the right thing, the ideal nor the matter of facts.
It’s all about a person’s believes, it might not be the right thing to others but it is the
right thing for the believer.
The most popular way of showing personal views is from voxpops, in a voxpops you
can get opinions of a topic from different people and that is their personal view
Here is an example, this is a reaction video but it also shows individual opinions.

In this video there are opinions of teens about a video called “DEVIL BABY ATTCK”
In the beginning of the video, it shows all the teens watching the video with subtitles
of their names one by one then just random video of their reactions while watching
the video. Most of them find it fun in the beginning but the longer they watch they
start to change their views. At first they though it was funny to scare people but later
they feel sorry for them but still some of them sees it as a show and thinks its funny.
Fairness
Itapplies to how broadcasters treat the individuals or organizations
directly affected by programmes, rather than to what the general
public sees and/or hears as viewers and listeners.
The individual has to agree whether if fine or not to show his or her
image/voice on the programme.
3. This picture is an example for it, in the picture the person’s face have been covered
with a black line, sometimes they make the face blur. That is because the person
refuse to show her face to the public, in this case shown on TV.
Accuracy
The information has to be used correctly and it must not mislead the
audience.
Mistakes in news should corrected on air quickly.
It must not include opinions. Because the information has to be the fact.
