Originally called Joe Robbie Stadium, Hard Rock Stadium opened in 1987 as the home of the Miami Dolphins. It has hosted six Super Bowls, two World Series, and is currently home to the Miami Dolphins NFL team, Miami Hurricanes college football team, and Miami Open tennis tournament. The stadium has undergone name changes since opening and a renovation in preparation to host Super Bowl LIV in 2020.
