I had the pleasure of working with Hanneke at SA Fence and Gate in Bloemfontein where she was an
accountant of the finance division during 2013. As Hanneke’s supervisor, I have yet to work with someone
as meticulous with numbers and calculations as she is. She was initially employed at our business as
bookkeeper but latterly promoted to an accountant’s position owing to her ability to take initiative and work
with complete abandon. She was organized, efficient and willing to do whatever was needed to get a
particular task accomplished. Because there were often last-minute deadlines, her cooperative attitude, big
smile and good cheer were important and appreciated.
During 2014 Hanneke was appointed as the Risk Manager of the SASSTEC Group at our Midrand branch where
she excelled through initiative by implementing new procedures to increase the productivity and
management controls. This was done by working closely with our internal audit department and assisting
them in certain tasks, when required.
Hanneke is a very bright and personable individual who knows her work inside-out. She is highly self-
