This document discusses the design of a handheld IOT terminal for warehouse management. It outlines requirements such as being waterproof, dustproof, and able to withstand falls. The design process involved brainstorming sessions to determine the best direction. The final design has a simple black case with sandblasted finishing and an easy to use wrist strap. Prototypes were created to demonstrate the design and allow for client feedback before final production. The goal was a device that meets client needs and stands out compared to similar products.

II. Discussion of the design: to design a handheld IOT(Internet of Things) operation terminal, we
must ensure it can comply the environment of warehouse management and the habits of handheld
operation terminal.
The design must keep the terminal operation easily, that is, read the bar code and input the
data and read/handle the data,easily. And the safety requirements for water proof, dust proof, fall
prevention is very high as The use environment of operation terminal is quite complicated. Also,
the appearance must be outstanding among the similar product.
Before the starting of the creative design, designers hold a lively discussion which is full of
divergent thinking collision and inspiration under tension pleasant atmosphere. After the
brainstorming, designers decide the creative direction base on sketches.
