The Hajj
Why , when and how we
       perform hajj?
Hajj
Hajj ...
Allah made it compulsory for every Muslim male and
female to perform Hajj once in a life time, provided
they have the means and are physically able to do
so. It is one of the five pillars of Islam. It was
prescribed in the sixth year of the Hijrah [the
migration of the messenger] [peace be upon him]
from Makah to Madinah. A Muslim who denies the
obligatory nature of Hajj becomes a disbeliever. A
person who has the ability to make a Hajj and does
not do so will be accountable on the day of
 Judgement.
Hajj is Obligatory with the Following
             Conditions
• Muslim
• Free
• Sound state of mind
• Adult
• Healthy
• Possession of extra wealth that suffices for
  transportation, provisions, and maintenance of
one’s family or other financial obligations till
  return
• Women require a Mahram
