  3. 3.  Muhajireen were the earliest converts to Islam and helped to spread Islam in Makkah and in outskirts these companions mainly consisted poor people, slaves and prophet’s family Muhajireen left their property, children and wives in Makkah and migrated to yathrib in the cause of Allah.
  4. 4.  Hadrat Ali (RA) Hadrat Abu-Bakr (RA) Hadrat Omar (RA) Hadrat Usman (RA) Hadrat Talha (RA) Hadrat Salman Farsi (RA) [from Persia] Hadrat Jaffar bin Abu Talib (RA) and others
  5. 5.  Ansar were the people living in Yathrib they invited holy prophet (SAW) and his companions (RA) to come and live in yathrib on the occasions of the two pledges of Aqabah. They later shared half of the property with their Islamic muhajireen brothers who came empty-handed from Makkah A long tribal war between the tribes of Aus and Khizraj came to an end after the arrival of holy prophet (SAW) and the name of yathrib was changed to Madinat-un-Nabi
