6. The term Open Source refers to something people can modify and
share because its design is publicly accessible.
Open source software is software with source code that anyone can
inspect, modify, and enhance.
8. What did I learn from Hacktoberfest 2022?
● Just don’t complete the 4/4 pull request margin for name sake.
● Understand the whole workflow of Git & Github.
● Try to contribute under larger open source communities like
Layer5,AsyncAPI and more…
● Remember Open Source is all about Collaboration instead of
Competition.

It is an open-source program that promotes diversity and inclusion.
💵 Perks - $7,000 USD total internship stipend for the whole duration.
🕰 Duration — 12 weeks (3 months)
⌚Application Period — Jan to Feb and August to September (Twice a year)
⌛Project Period - Twice a year
4) Linux Foundation Mentorship Program (LFX Mentorship) -
This is a program organized by the Linux Foundation for all aspiring Linux developers.
💵 Perks - $3000 USD (For India) and maximum $6600 USD stipend amount depending on the country.
🕰 Duration — 12 weeks (3 months), can vary with organisations.
⌚Application Period — The application opens approx. 4weeks before the start date.
