Ha Hoang from Vietnam volunteered as an international tutor for the GROW educational program in Romania from January to March 2013. GROW aims to develop students' skills, attitudes, and values through a non-formal educational approach. As a tutor, Ha prepared and delivered training courses to about 15 Romanian participants on topics related to personal development. Feedback on Ha's sessions was extremely positive. The letter writer recommends Ha for any project involving education, teamwork, or youth development based on Ha's work with the GROW program in Romania.

1. To Whom it May Concern,
I am privileged to write in support of Ha Hoang from Vietnam that I had the chance to work
with during the educational program GROW 0.9-1.0 organized in Romania during the winter of
2013 , between 28th
of January and 30th
of March.
GROW represents a national non-formal educational program that helps high school students
develop their skills, attitudes and, most important, values. GROW represents a new approach to
the standard education, aiming to develop strong individuals with high self esteem, a clear
sense of direction, good self-awareness, strong connections with positive role-models and
knowledgeable about personal development opportunities. GROW is organized in Romania by
AIESEC (the largest international student run organization) and School of Values Association (a
young and ambitious NGO aiming to contribute to the development of a value based society
through innovative education).
Ha was one of the international tutors that actively accepted to get involved in the project and
moved from Vietnam to Romania for a period of approximately 2 months. Ha prepared and
delivered training courses for groups of approximately 15 Romanian participants. The feed-back
of the training program was extremely good, and the participants want to continue the
program.
The main activities were:
- participate to the 5 days Train the Trainers conference, delivered by trainers from The
School of Values NGO;
- adjust the given curriculum, presentations and delivery guidelines in order for it to give
it a personal touch and to be delivered properly;
2. - prepare feedback forms for each session;
- make sure the topics are delivered in accordance with the principles, purpose and
objectives of the GROW program;
- involve all the participants in discussions;
- make sure that the participation is at full level during each training day (retention rate);
- make sure that the feedback forms are completed at the end of each day;
- deliver at least 5 sessions from the entire curriculum.
I recommend Ha to any activity or project that involves education, team working and youth
development.
Thank you for the opportunity of correspondence,
Sincerely,
Stefan Palarie,
President of the School of Values – Romania
