Hogwarts' Secret Map
1. `Ic: You take your wand, and give the old folded piece of parchment a tap with your
wand “malum auctors” At first, nothing happens, then pictures begin to swirl into view,
and words appear above each of what you can tell are rooms, and places. As you
continue looking you see small curved arrows, and miniscule gold dots. You place your
wand over a room and words appear. Could this be a password? You suddenly realize
what some symbols mean, and what kind of map this is. It's clearly a map of Hogwarts
and all of its secrets.
~ The purple arrow appears to show that a door connects with another room mentioned
elsewhere on the map.
~ The red lightning bolt appears to represent classes
~Theese are the seccret entrances
4. Dungeons
As you can see, in each room besides the main entrance itself, the order of rooms on the map is clockwise motion from the door
you just entered. ie. In the dungeons, the double doors are the first on the map, and each slide is a door in clockwise order.
21. I. Hufflpuff Hallway II
When the door you entered is at one end, and there is a straight line of doors like this, it is an exception to the counterclockwise
rule, as you can just go down the line.
37. - The Lake
The rule of counterclockwise is also broken when the doors are along the wall in a fashion like this where there are no doors on
the other side, or sides.
72. – Seventh Floor Corridor
Used in times before us, when darkest times
As You put your wand to the portrait, small print appears:
should dawn again. In the year when innocent dies just before the darkness rises. Use your mind to think,
not magic, but just a taste of sweets.
84. -I. Gryffindor Common Room
As you put your wand to the room, small print appears: " You've seen my kind before, but I was the first you heard. You used
me to escape trouble, though it led to so much more. the squib would've had you cornered but I let you through the door."
85. Ia. Gryffindor Hallway
In rooms like this, you go from the door to the left (oocly right) to around, and left again.
111. The map suddenly grows warm in your hands, and you see the words “mischief made” appear.
When you say the words, the map would swirl into its original form of old Transfiguration
notes. Seconds later you would hear footsteps, and the door of the room your in opening. It
would be an untrusted student. How did the map know? You would then pocket the map, and
be on your way ready to open it when in need.
