Gurgaon Real Estate – Reaching New Heights 
Gurgaon real estate has seen a big revolution due to the economic boom and liberalization of foreign direct 
investment (FDI). The potential of economic growth in Gurgaon has made it an inviting new market for foreign 
investors. The city is attracting foreign investment for residential townships, hospitals, telecommunication, 
hotels, IT parks, etc, resulting in considerable growth in Gurgaon real estate scenario. 
Real estate is the second largest employing sector including fields such as facilities and construction 
management. The sector is linked to 250 other supportive industries like steel, transport, brick, cement, etc. 
Therefore, an increase in the expenditure of one unit, has an effect on all the related fields. With significant 
investment opportunities in Gurgaon, international real estate players also see an opportunity to invest in the 
city. A boom in this industry has attracted realty funds such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC Financial Services, 
Citigroup, Barclays, etc. 
Growth in the income levels of urban middle class is one of the main reasons of advancement in real estate. Other 
factors affecting real estate in Gurgaon are low interest rates, increase in nuclear families and rising awareness 
among young working population about the benefits of owning their own home. The modern way of thinking has 
changed from saving to buy a home, to buying the home first and then repaying. The rapid growth in economy of 
Gurgaon has led to an increase in commercial/corporate properties. India as well as its urban cities are looking at 
increasing demand in commercial properties to meet the growing needs of businesses, such as shopping 
centres, hotels, warehouses, corporate offices, etc. 
Architecturally Gurgaon real estate consists of some of the most remarkable buildings, in a wide range of styles. 
Gurgaon skyline is recognized for its skyscrapers, as the city is home to many modern and distinct tall buildings. 
Some of the residential buildings in Gurgaon include high rise apartments, condominiums, builder floor 
apartments, individual houses, Bunglaws, furnished luxury apartments, etc. Real estate in Gurgaon is 
planned amidst open spaces, wide streets and lush green surroundings, offering a beautiful environment for home 
owners as well as business organizations to set up their properties. With increase in demand in real estate 
Gurgaon, India, the need for all types of real estate is only likely to continue.
