1. Guidelines for designing a questionnaire
The questionnaire should:
 Be simple and easy to understand
 Where appropriate, provide options for schoolmates to choose from
 Help us find out the kinds of activities our schoolmates do to celebrate the selected-
traditional festival
Work in groups and put the following steps in the right order by numbering them from ‘1’ to ‘5’.
( ) Ask the interviewee for permission to interview him / her.
( ) Make it clear when you move on a new question.
( ) Thank the interviewee.
( ) Tell the interviewee that the interview is finished.
( ) State the purpose of the interview
