Arthropathy in haematological disorders in childrendattasrisaila
This document discusses various hematological disorders that can present with rheumatological symptoms in children. It describes benign disorders like sickle cell disease, thalassemias, and hemophilia that can cause joint pain, swelling, and damage. It also covers malignant disorders like leukemic arthritis and how certain cancers like leukemia can initially manifest as musculoskeletal complaints. For each condition, it provides details on presentations, treatments, and long term complications involving the bones and joints.
The document discusses themes of isolation in J.D. Salinger's novel "The Catcher in the Rye". The story follows Holden Caulfield who constantly feels isolated and judges those around him. He isolates himself both mentally and socially. Nearly the entire story is told from Holden's isolated perspective as he struggles with feelings of loneliness and depression.
Vasculitis refers to inflammation of blood vessels. It is classified based on vessel size and pathology. The most common pediatric vasculitides are Henoch-Schonlein purpura and Kawasaki disease. Diagnosis involves evaluating symptoms, radiology like angiograms, histopathology of biopsied tissues, and serology tests like ANCA. Treatment depends on type and severity of vasculitis. Prognosis varies, with most children recovering fully from HSP or KD, while other types like AAV carry higher risks of organ damage and mortality if not properly treated.

The American wife stands at the window of a hotel room watching the rain. She sees a cat huddled under a table getting wet. She wants to rescue the cat but her husband says not to get wet. A hotel owner is polite and tries to please guests. The wife likes him. She opens the door and the maid is there with an umbrella and a cat the owner sent for the wife. The wife is bored and wants things like her own silverware and a cat of her own. Her husband tells her to read. The maid brings a cat the owner sent for the wife.
Pulmonary manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosisdattasrisaila
Acute lupus pneumonitis, pulmonary hemorrhage, bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia, constrictive bronchiolitis, chronic interstitial pneumonitis and fibrosis, and pulmonary vascular disease are the main pulmonary manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus. Imaging findings vary depending on the specific manifestation but may include ground glass opacities, consolidation, nodules, septal thickening, and signs of pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary infections, especially tuberculosis, are also important indirect pulmonary complications of SLE due to immunosuppression from the disease or its treatments.
This excerpt from Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" finds the speaker asking the reader candid questions while alone at dusk. He acknowledges contradicting himself but says he contains multitudes. The speaker waits on the doorstep, asking who has finished their work and meal for the day and wishes to walk with him before he departs, hoping it's not too late.
Heart involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus, dattasrisaila
Cardiac involvement is common in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and anti-phospholipid syndrome (APS). All parts of the heart can be affected through various mechanisms including autoantibodies, immune complexes, and thrombosis. In SLE, pericarditis and myocarditis are most common while APS is associated with valve abnormalities and coronary artery disease. Treatment involves controlling risk factors, immunosuppression, and in APS, anticoagulation or antiplatelet therapy.
Vaccine recommendations in children with rheumatological diseasesdattasrisaila
This document discusses immunization recommendations from a rheumatologist's perspective. It reviews the existing literature on the immunogenicity, efficacy, and safety of various vaccines, including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, pneumococcal, meningococcal, influenza, and polio vaccines, in patients with rheumatological conditions, both children and adults. The studies generally found that vaccines were immunogenic and safe for patients with rheumatological diseases, even when they were receiving immunosuppressive therapies, though responses were sometimes lower compared to healthy individuals. Larger and more recent studies are still needed.
This document discusses various types of infectious and viral arthritis. Septic arthritis is a potentially life-threatening joint infection most often caused by bacteria entering the joint from another infected site. Diagnosis involves joint fluid analysis showing very high white blood cell counts. Treatment requires antibiotics and sometimes surgery. Risk factors include age, diabetes, and prosthetic joints. Parvovirus B19 and rubella can also cause self-limiting viral arthritis mimicking rheumatoid arthritis.
Polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteiritisdattasrisaila
Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA) are two closely related inflammatory conditions that often occur in the same patient population. GCA causes inflammation of medium and large arteries and can lead to vision loss, strokes, and other ischemic symptoms. It predominantly affects women over 50 and is diagnosed based on clinical features, elevated inflammatory markers like ESR, and positive temporal artery biopsy. Imaging plays an important role in diagnosis and monitoring disease involving large arteries like the aorta. High-dose corticosteroids are the primary treatment.
Ankylosing spondylitis treatment and assessmentdattasrisaila
Methotrexate has limited or no proven efficacy in treating ankylosing spondylitis. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) provide effective symptom relief and may reduce inflammation. Physical therapy, exercise, and patient education are cornerstones of treatment regardless of other therapies employed. Tumor necrosis factor inhibitors such as etanercept, infliximab, and adalimumab demonstrate striking efficacy in most patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
This document provides an overview of approaches to evaluating patients presenting with arthritis. It compares articular vs periarticular arthritis and inflammatory vs noninflammatory arthritis. It discusses evaluation of acute monoarthritis vs polyarthritis and various etiologies including infectious, autoimmune, and crystal-induced causes. Extra-articular features that can aid in diagnosis are also reviewed.
This document discusses coaching, counseling, mentoring and their advantages for managing employee behavior and performance. It defines coaching as helping employees develop skills through feedback, and counseling as discussing attitudes and values during poor performance. Mentoring involves experienced employees training others. The advantages include empowering and inspiring employees, building skills, resolving issues, and strengthening teams and the organization. It provides tips for both functions like preparing, listening, identifying solutions and celebrating successes.
Synovial fluid analysis provides diagnostic information for patients with joint infections or crystal-induced arthritis. Synovial fluid is normally clear and viscous, but abnormal fluids can be categorized as noninflammatory, inflammatory, septic, or hemorrhagic based on analysis. Key components of analysis include white blood cell count, differential count, cultures, Gram stain, and crystal search using polarized light microscopy. Abnormal findings help reduce the number of possible joint effusion causes to consider in the differential diagnosis.
Ankylosing spondylitis clinical feature and diagnosisdattasrisaila
Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory arthritis that primarily affects the spine and sacroiliac joints. It presents with inflammatory back pain and stiffness that improves with exercise. Diagnosis requires radiographic evidence of sacroiliitis along with limitations in spinal mobility. The disease progresses over time, leading to fusion of the vertebrae and loss of spinal movement. It is strongly associated with the HLA-B27 gene.

● Conclusions
3. Què pretenem?
Reduir el consum energètic gestionant el
confort tèrmic dels usuaris (això vol dir
informar-los, comptar amb ells, gestionar
possibles conflictes, etc.).
Transmetre com a idea principal que:
Un petit esforç produeix
grans canvis!
treballem a diferents Campus.
d'alguns companys i companyes que hem
seleccionat. Sent significatiu les diverses opinions i
possibles canvis i millores
5. Quins resultats hem obtingut?
● Les enquestes s'han realitzat a 5 edificis:
ETSEIAT, BCBL, OMEGA, FNB i VÈRTEX.
● En total van participar 17 persones entre PAS, PDI i
entudiants, de diferentes centres, amb una
participació desigual segons l'edifici.
● A continuació us presentem unes gràfiques amb les
preguntes formulades i resultats obtinguts: Edificis,
usuaris, valoració i opinions.
6. RESULTAS DE LES ENQUESTES
1. A quin edifici treballes?
Nombre de respostes obtingudes
9. 4. Entre els teus companys observes diferents
percepcions en relació a la temperatura?
