South Africans seeking to make a meaningful contribution within
the tourism industry.

With a strong aspiration, Groove SA seeks to activate the youth
market within the various sectors of the tourism industry. From
grass roots levels right up to the upper echelons of the industry at
large. Create a network, share knowledge, open up opportunities
and inject confidence.

The association seeks to declare that the youth of South Africa are
not passive silent partners, they are opinionated, vibrant, talented
and ready to lead the future of this key strategic economic space of
tourism.

Tourism is a key strategic economic driver with enormous potential.
As a result, the future of tourism has become the focal point of
conversations at conferences, conventions, seminars, in panel
discussions and within company boardrooms.

As great as that is, the ever increasing concerns is that, the future of
tourism and its issues are discussed behind closed doors without
the youth actually getting to participate in those discussions.
Neglecting the fact that the youth are future custodians of this very
key economic sector.

Often with claims such as 'The youth is not ready', highlighting that,
the youth group in South Africa is seen as passive and seeking
handouts.

Groove SA's vision is to demonstrate to the South African
tourism industry that the youth of this country is ready to take
on the realms of leadership. They are self organised, creative,
innovation-driven and geared to make a meaningful
contribution.

The association is dedicated to showcasing the youth potential
and abilities within the space of tourism by drawing young
dynamic professionals across all industry sectors of tourism to
change the narrative by bringing energy and fresh ideas to the
industry.

A collective of young individuals from different sectors of tourism
across the country have come together carrying with them, zest,
innovation, skills and knowledge.
Their quest is to showcase revolutionising capabilities that seek to
change the industry's views of tourism and package a better future
for the industry.
