Have older boyfriends or girlfriends
Go to unusual places to meet friends
Have new things such as clothes or mobile phones that
they can’t or won’t explain
Have access to drugs or alcohol

Here in Chile if you commit this
crime you can go to prison/jail (5
to 15 years in prison)
6. How can we prevent it?
Help them understand who they should or
should not be contacting.
Teach your child that people aren’t
always honest when online.
Try not to be overly strict.
Show your child that he can trust you to tell
you everything.

Don't meet people online that you don't know in
person
Have control of how much time do you spend in the
phone
Be careful with your personal pictures
Administrate right privacy on social media
Identify fake links and don't open them

children for them to tell us everything about what they
do on internet
Identify signs of cyberbullying, grooming or sexting and
report it immediately
Give information to parents about the dangers of
internet (cyberbullying, grooming, sexting)
Create laws to administrate better the use of social
media
