This document discusses a research project assessing the accessibility and efficiency of traffic near schools in eastern Singapore. The project aims to evaluate accessibility to schools, minimize traffic congestion during morning rush hours, and maximize transportation efficiency. It outlines the targeted schools, research framework involving data collection and analysis, and methodology for assessing accessibility, congestion levels, and potential cycling routes to improve efficiency. Data on bus services, distances from MRT stations and cycling paths, and student arrival numbers at different school gates is analyzed to evaluate accessibility and congestion at three sample schools.
