God Mail and God’s Calling is a unique patented system that was developed to be an outreach program for churches to invite people to experience their church and learn about God. We were founded in 2012 by our C.E.O. Mark VanGinhoven who has had over 30 years of direct mail advertising experience. For the past 15 years we have been a full service direct mail house serving a number of different industries, but God has laid it on our hearts to use our time and talents to help expand his kingdom. Our hope is that we can help churches all across the country touch as many lives as possible and save souls.

Diocese of London Lent Appeal 2015. Who inspired you when you were younger?diolondon
Our Lent Appeal this year asks the question: 'Who inspired you when you were younger to become the person you are today?'
You might make an opportunity to share your answers in your prayer or study groups or other church groups, giving thanks to God.
Practically, the goal of our Lent Appeal is to fund additional youth, children and family workers to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve their communities.
We are raising funds for the Bishop of London’s Mission Fund, which is looking to support children, youth and family projects across the Diocese and who will be investing at least £1 million over the next three years in order to realise this goal.
Check out our first edition of the convocation newsletter, The Encouraging Word!
We will publish quarterly editions of the newsletter to our facebook page. Member clergy and lay leaders are welcome to contribute announcements, church bios (called "parish spotlights" in the newsletter), articles, poetry, theological musings, or letters-to-the-editor.
All submissions for the Winter 2013 Edition of The Encouraging Word are due by Nov. 27th, 2013. You can send them via facebook message, or you can email them to midsouthanglicanconvocation@yahoo.com.

3. Mission: Darlington Church attendance in the UK has been dwindling for years, especially among young people. Darlington is a small city located in North East England about 60 miles from the North Sea. Darlington has a population of roughly 100,000 (over 40% are over the age of 45 and over 30% are under the age of 24). While in Darlington we discovered young people with real needs who are searching for real answers. Unfortunately, many of them have turned to physical pleasures (i.e. sex, drugs, alcohol) or Wiccan or Pagan teaching to give them what only Christ can provide.
4. Darlington Baptist Tabernacle Is a small older church that according to Pastor Gareth Evans has seen better days. Years ago it had a thriving youth ministry and a reasonable membership by UK standards. Unfortunately, in the 10 years prior to the current pastor being called, the membership fell from 58 to 26, the congregation grew older, and the church lost most of the youth and children. Over the last three years membership has slowly grown and is currently at 35 due to a number of new initiatives including an Asylum-seeker drop in centre, kids church, and several missions involving teams from the US. Attendance can vary from week to week but is substantially larger than it was three years ago. The visit of a team from Champion Forest Baptist Church helped draw teenagers into a Café church initiative that was flagging and into Sunday evening services. The church has sought to sustain this work but it struggling in terms of sufficient workers. As a church they need help to develop the opportunities presented to them. The pastor of the church, Dr. Gareth Evans, is forced to act as preacher, pastor, youth leader, children’s worker and administrator. He has a vision to reach the city of Darlington for Christ but new developments are unsustainable in the long term without fresh workers. The church body needs to be trained in relationship evangelism and equipped for ministry in this century not the last one.

6. Outreach Opportunities - Sports Sports ministry established in July 2009. The mission of the sports ministry is to engage the youth of Darlington through the use of Ultimate Frisbee, Football (soccer), and American Football in order to build connections between the youth and the church. The relationships that are built between the youth and the church members through sports hopefully will lead them to come to Café Church and give us other opportunities to share Christ with them.
7.
8. Outreach Opportunities – Café Church Café Church is a relatively new ministry established by Dr. Evans in order to try and engage the youth of Darlington. The mission of Café Church is to provide the opportunity for the church members to engage teenagers in spiritual discussions in a relatively non-confrontational way. While the CFBC mission team was in Darlington we were able to invite over 20 youth to come to Café Church who have real needs and are searching for answers to life's questions.
9.
10. Mission Goals To build bridges and lasting connections between the students and the church. To assist Dr. Evans ministry at the church serving as a second staff member. To lay the ground work for future leadership. To help train long term leadership for youth work. To see students come to know Jesus Christ as there personal Lord and Savior and be disciple.
11. Legacy/Impact Thriving youth ministry at Darlington Baptist Tabernacle. The church being seen as a lighthouse of hope in a dark community (community involvement). A united community of faith that is welcoming to people of all ages, races, and religious backgrounds.
12. How you can Support-Prayer Pray that God will reveal to me, Gareth, and the church leadership the direction that the church needs to go. Pray for Dr. Gareth Evans and the church membership of Darlington Baptist Tabernacle. Pray that God would open doors for us to be able to minister to and share Christ with the youth. Pray that God will open the hearts of the youth in Darlington to the gospel. Pray that God raises up permanent leaders for the different ministry areas, specifically someone with a heart for youth. Pray for the church to really develop a heart of compassion for youth. Financial support for ministry expenses and opportunities. Darlington Baptist Tabernacle has very limited resources and gifts I receive will help to fund new ministry activity as well as help continue existing ministries.
13. How you can Support-Financially I am in the process of raising support funds to send me to Darlington, which will cost approximately $2,000 a month. If you can help with this effort through a one time gift or through periodic (monthly or quarterly) gifts, it would be much appreciated. Please remember that no gift is to small.
