Graland Country Day School has provided educational excellence in Denver, Colorado since 1924, when it was founded by teachers and parents following the progressive educational philosophy of John Dewey. Led currently by philanthropist Scott Reiman and others on the board of trustees, Graland educates students from preschool to 8th grade on a seven-acre campus, with an 8:1 student to teacher ratio allowing for individualized instruction. Graland's success is demonstrated by its graduates, of which 97% get accepted to their first choice high school and 100% later attend college.
